Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level and working toward degree or professional certification in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field
  • Must be able to dedicate 40 hours/week toward the internship during normal M-F PST working hours.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
  • Ability to utilize a flexible approach to manage competing priorities and stakeholders, and stay focused and organized in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience in creating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases
  • Experience in designing and developing forms, brochures, and slide decks
  • Ability to produce thorough and complete documentation
  • Ability to work independently and on tight deadlines.
  • Able to sit and/or stand at a desk and use a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong creative and design abilities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support all L&D initiatives and programs through coordinated logistics, including scheduling, setup/break down, and communications as requested
  • Design and produce learning resources such as forms, handouts, slide decks, and surveys
  • Adhere to KEEN brand, image, and style guidelines in training materials
  • Curate competency-aligned courses, videos, books, articles, and podcasts
  • Collaborate with other staff within the team to recommend and refine processes and workflows
  • Help to manage and update the Learning & Development site on Campfire
  • Monitor course content, course approvals, and evaluation processes as necessary
  • Help with Learner of the Month and Monthly Learning Challenges, including curating content, creating & publishing marketing materials, and communications
  • Perform other work as assigned to ensure the success of the entire organization
