Requirements

  • Current enrollment as a 2L or 3L student at Northeastern Law School
  • Current and future authorization to work in the United States
  • Strong written and verbal communication, reasoning, and analytical skills
  • A team-first approach and enjoyment in collaborating with others
  • Self-starting mentality, and the ability to envision solutions and take initiative to see the solution to the end despite challenges
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • An interest in commercial transactions, contracts, and intellectual property

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, drafting, and working on projects for the legal team related to contracts analysis, review, and drafting
  • Helping with legal operations tasks and assistance with Nondisclosure agreements
  • Conducting legal research and preparing legal memos and correspondence
  • Learning about and assisting with projects on:
  • Regulatory Matters
  • Intellectual Property
  • Marketing and Product
  • Compliance
  • Corporate Governance Projects
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Employment Law
  • Assisting in implementation of a Contract Life Cycle Management tool
