Requirements

  • Knowledge & Skills:

  • Education:
  • Currently enrolled in a postsecondary diploma or degree in computer Science or related studies with an aptitude for Infrastructure Technologies
  • Experience:
  • Experience with infrastructure networking and security systems/protocols and related technologies: LAN, WAN (BGP and OSPF), WLAN, VPN, FW, VoIP, and IDS/IPS
  • Experience with Network Automation is considered an asset
  • Experience with the Oil & Gas Industry, ITIL practices, and SOX compliance is an asset
  • Previous experience supporting production environments and working with end users to identify and resolve business issues innovatively is an asset
  • Previous experience working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment is required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with various projects and responsibilities associated with corporate litigation, regulatory filings, policy revisions, anti-corruption/anti-bribery compliance, contractual matters, insurance inquiries, etc.
  • Assist with discovery, including third-party subpoenas, the drafting of written responses/positional statements, and the analysis and review of pleadings and other pertinent legal documents
  • Investigate facts and research case law to help in litigation or investigation matters
  • Assist with preparing and editing documents, contracts, and correspondence
  • Provide general support to the contract and legal teams
  • Other support and ad hoc duties as required
