Responsibilities

  • Supports the Executive Producer in producing video content for the show “Comcast Newsmakers,” driving results for all parts of the production process.
  • Researching and pitching topics for segments
  • Script writing
  • Fact-checking
  • Reviewing draft edits, both for content and technical issues
  • QC of platforms
  • Crafting smart headlines and captions for video content, following AP style for journalism, for multiple platforms\
  • Attend productions for Comcast Newsmakers and provide general support for the team
  • Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program
