The ideal candidate for the Local Media Development Intern position should have experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, Avid, Final Cut, etc.), broadcast script writing, and researching. Attention to detail is crucial, and obtaining a Bachelors degree in Journalism is preferred but not required. Relevant work experience of 0-2 years is also desirable.

The Local Media Development Intern at Comcast will support the Executive Producer in producing video content for "Comcast Newsmakers," including researching and pitching topics, script writing, fact-checking, reviewing edits, crafting headlines and captions, attending productions, and providing general team support. Must be available to work nights and weekends, have strong attention to detail, and work 40 hours per week over the summer program.
