Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field, with at least one semester remaining after the internship
  • Applicant should have a strong desire to become a Supply Chain professional
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information in a clear and concise manner
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to system access.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and data
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and manage a large number of tasks and projects, while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge in data analysis, and reporting tools (Tableau, SAP, MS Project)

Responsibilities

  • Support critical supply chain initiatives that optimize the value to Lockheed Martin's supply chain operations enterprise-wide.
  • Support and gain exposure into the team's activities related to emerging supply chain issues, supplier risk management, risk assessments, conflict minerals, rare earth elements, and foreign source dependencies.
  • Participate in supply chain management challenges and activities.
  • Gain a global LM perspective while working with our various sites to understand their supply chain requirements, business priorities and culture.
