Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Diploma of college studies in Operations and Production Management or relevant academic training or high school/secondary school diploma (completed or underway) with relevant experience
  • Available full-time (40 hours per week) during the Summer season (early May to late August)
  • Knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with an SAP ERP or WMS system
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work as a team

  • Ability to mobilize work teams

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the work of the forklift operators responsible for reception and storage of raw materials, supply for the production floor and loading of finished products in the trailers
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of the truck driver/forklift operator for the delivery of finished products to the distribution centre and moving the trailers between the leading docks
  • Ensure optimal use of warehouse space, integrity of raw materials and site cleanliness according to standards in place
  • Perform weekly inventory cycle counts, analyze gaps and take the appropriate corrective measures
  • Coordinate and participate in the monthly complete physical count and inventory of raw materials
  • Participate in the development of procedures and/or work methods, and train employees on the procedures and work methods
  • Supervise the inspection of loads received in accordance with SQF
  • Apply the help chain, when needed
  • Wear the PPE and make sure that safety instructions are followed (lockout, use of compressed air, eyewear, earplugs, etc.)
  • Report any issue related to food product quality to his/her supervisor
