Requirements

  • Be a current, full-time college student with at least one academic term remaining following an internship at MyFitnessPal. The following students are generally eligible:
  • Undergraduate students graduating between December 2024 and May 2025 (rising Juniors or Seniors)
  • Students completing their master’s degree between December 2024 and May 2025
  • Full Time MBA students between the 1st and 2nd year of their program
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in computer vision and image processing
  • Familiarity with common computer vision architectures (e.g., CNNs, Vision Transformers)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch
  • Reliable access to the internet and comfortable in a remote working environment
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with large scale multimodal models (ex: Vision-Language Models)
  • Knowledge of distributed training frameworks (ex: PyTorch Distributed, DeepSpeed, Ray Train)
  • Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes
  • Previous research experience
  • On Device inference (ex: CoreML)

Responsibilities

  • Implementing Recent Advances in Deep Learning and Image Recognition, including new optimizers, architectures and training objectives
  • Training Image Recognition and Vision-Language Models
  • Evaluating Models and Curating Datasets to identify and mitigate issues in current models
