Requirements

  • Pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Engineering
  • Any Engineering major: Mechanical, robotics, systems, electrical or industrial
  • Must have good verbal, written, and communications skills. 
  • Ability to understand/interpret data
  • Ability to work with close-knit teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of/experience with MS Office
  • Highly analytical skill set with excel experience and attention to details
  • This internship is scheduled to begin June 2024 and end on approximately August 2024

Responsibilities

  • Process Support: Assist manufacturing engineers in troubleshooting and resolving issues in the production process to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with senior engineers to identify areas for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control activities, including inspections and audits, to maintain high manufacturing standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering changes.
  • Prototyping: Participate in the development and testing of new prototypes and equipment to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, design, and production, to facilitate the implementation of process improvements.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing engineering and apply this knowledge to projects.
