Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Senior Student, returning to a degree program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the coop
  • Preferred Majors: Business Analytics, Economics, Business & Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Technology/Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, Communications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university that has a cooperative learning track.
  • Prior experience in school or in a job conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the program
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

Responsibilities

  • The Market & Competitive Growth Strategy (MCGS) Co-Op will play a key role in systematically tracking changes in the Internet and mobile markets, including shifts in competitor strategies and tactics as well as analyzing quarterly market/competitive performance. Key companies to be tracked include Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Frontier, and Charter.
  • The MCGS Co-Op will be responsible for highlighting tangible changes in competitor performance trends as well as notable changes occurring across the overall Internet and mobile markets.
  • This role will also involve collaboration with others who help to identify longer-term ways for us to achieve competitive differentiation with consumers in providing Internet and mobile connectivity services.
  • The person filling this role will have a unique opportunity to join Briefing sessions with the senior executive team at Comcast to discuss key trends unfolding across the Connectivity industry including opportunities and challenges for Comcast.
