What are the primary responsibilities of a Materials Intern at Terracon?
The primary responsibilities include conducting field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, performing sampling or testing as directed, assisting other field and laboratory personnel, transporting equipment and specimens, cleaning equipment and work areas, and assisting in routine tasks, with an increase in training and responsibility over time.
What educational background is required to apply for this internship?
Applicants should have a high school diploma and be pursuing a BS degree in a science or related field, such as environmental science, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology, ideally with less than one year remaining to complete their degree.
