The project will involve permeation testing of membrane materials and associated chemical and mechanical characterization. Techniques may include differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, gas chromatography, and mechanical testing. The work will primarily be experimental and lab-based, involving carrying out experiments as well as performing the analysis and interpretation of the experimental data. You will work within a team of scientists as an integrated part of the team working on an ongoing research project. The position would be suitable for those interested in applications of chemistry, materials science, and chemical engineering.
