The candidate should be a first-year MBA student with a strong academic record and a background in accounting or finance. They should have experience in financial statement analysis and ideally be working towards a CFA. Knowledge of Factset and Bloomberg, as well as Python skills, is a plus. Previous equity research or consulting experience is desired, along with strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is necessary, and the candidate must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.

The MBA Equity Research Intern at Thrivent will engage in industry and company research, collaborate with senior analysts, build financial models, analyze valuation, develop investment theses, and acquire skills in Bloomberg and Factset.
