The candidate must have a strong academic background, knowledge of finance and corporate strategy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and investment tools is preferred, and programming skills are a bonus. Full-time availability during the summer is required.

The candidate's day-to-day responsibilities as an MBA intern in fixed income research at Thrivent will involve providing research support, monitoring credit risk and investment performance, conducting independent research on industries and sectors, offering investment strategy support, and actively participating in the investment process.
