Requirements

  • On track to achieve a 2:1 or above
  • Working towards a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Preferably be in your second or third year of study
  • Have a passion for improving the built environment
  • Be interested in design and, in particular, sustainable design principles

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering student to join our team in Dublin for a paid Summer Placement. It is an excellent opportunity for you to gain some work experience supporting with future university studies.
  • Under the guidance of our team of experienced engineers, we’ll equip you to undertake detailed mechanical building services engineering design and analysis, define and translate clients’ needs into designs for buildings, facilities and services (ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems and more) - all with sustainability at the forefront of the design.
  • Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you’ll provide specialist consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors including education, healthcare, workplace, retail and critical systems (data centres).
