Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an ABET accredited university is required.
  • Previous relevant internship experience preferred.
  • Must possess good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a project team and assist in the design of building systems (HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing) and life safety plans.
  • May also assist with the design and specifications of system layouts, load calculations, hydraulic calculations, sizing and selecting equipment, ductwork and piping design and editing of specifications.
  • Prepare design documents using ACAD/BIM in accordance with Dewberry standards.
