Requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Enrolled at Miami Dade College or George T Baker in one of their Aviation Programs. (MDC: Engineering Technology Electrical, Computer Science & Related Technologies, Engineering Technology Electrical, or Aeronautical Science) (GTB: Avionics Program or Airframe Program)
Ability to work onsite in Miami on a part-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above)
Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations
Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships
Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to engineering, aerospace and a career with Boeing

Responsibilities

Over the course of our internship experience you will have the opportunity to:
Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to real world problems
Experience our products up close by touring our state-of-the-art manufacturing and research facilities
Interact directly with our company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of Boeing
Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities
Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the aerospace industry
Commit to working part time 16-24 hours a week until completion of their Technical School degree
Repairs, tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
Conducts functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators.
Participates with external agencies in the conduct of simulator certification, Acceptance Test Procedures and Automated/Manual Test Guides.
Assists engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment.
