Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will develop GenAI capability for multiple internal projects. The intern will assess thoroughly different semantic search engines and embedding models and give a comprehensive review of their advantages and disadvantages for our GenAI Copilot initiatives.
  • You will give a detailed assessment of the latest semantic search approaches for:
  • Accuracy
  • Runtime (Response time)
  • Scalability
  • Limitations
  • Advantages
  • The intern will revise many open-source and proprietary embedding and semantic search methods in the space:
  • Open-source: FAISS, Chroma, etc
  • OpenAI: Hierarchical, etc
  • Different databases: ElasticSearch, in-memory databases
  • Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning
