Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program, preferably in Engineering.
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
  • Desired Characteristics:
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Familiarity with Bay Area sports
  • Basic level of technical knowledge of audio, video, signal flow, for broadcast.
  • Familiarity and proficiency with computer operating systems, networking concepts and hardware.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to accurately read work order instructions and follow procedures.
  • Ability to work under or behind desks and in server rooms
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Self-starter that is comfortable working independently and within teams
  • Customer-service focused with highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Interest in production and broadcast technology and engineering, technically minded individual.
  • Ability to adapt to ongoing changes in processes, priorities, tasks and workload.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with special projects, equipment installation, and testing.
  • Assist the Engineering team with research regarding system documentation and cabling.
  • Assist with support of live and taped show productions.
