  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • High school diploma/GED required. Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer. No additional preferences.
  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSES REQUIRED:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of a nurse, provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Completes assigned nursing orders as directed by preceptor, including assisting patient with activities of daily living and taking vital signs.
  • Observes patient status and responses. Documents and reports observations

The Nursing Intern position is PRN, with a 12-hour day shift from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, Sunday through Saturday.
