Responsibilities

  • Taking phone calls from patients, answering or referring inquiries appropriately.
  • Optimizes patient satisfaction, utilization by scheduling appointments by telephone or in person through computer software systems.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Maintains patient records by obtaining and accurately recording patient demographics, insurance, and billing information.
  • Responds appropriately to unexpected office events and situations.
  • Protects the right of patients by maintaining confidentiality of personal, health and financial information.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
