You do not need to be a professional photographer; even novice photographers can learn to take great shots with the support and training provided.

You will be taking photos of various items, including clothing, homeware, books, vintage items, collectables, toys, and more.
Are there any age restrictions for this volunteer position?
Yes, volunteers must be at least 17 years old, and we cannot accept anyone with unspent criminal convictions.
Is this a paid position?
No, this is an unpaid voluntary position.
What support will I receive as a volunteer photographer?
You will receive plenty of support and training, as well as ongoing guidance on how to capture the right shots for online selling.
What benefits do volunteers receive?
Volunteers receive a 25% discount on donated goods and a 10% discount on new goods, unlimited support from Retail Trust, access to training, reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses, refreshments, volunteer certificates, references, and access to discounts with other retailers.
How many hours do I need to commit to this volunteer role?
You can volunteer a few hours a week or occasionally, depending on your availability.
Will I be required to use my own camera for this role?
You may use your own smartphone, but a camera will also be provided to you for taking photos.
