What is the main purpose of the Online Sales Photographer Volunteer role?
The main purpose of this role is to take high-quality photos of items for online sales, which helps the charity raise funds for lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases.
What type of items will I be photographing?
You will be photographing a wide range of items including clothing, homeware, books, vintage items, collectables, toys, and more.
Do I need to have professional photography skills to volunteer for this role?
No, you do not need to be a pro photographer. Even novice photographers will receive support and training to help them take the right snaps.
What equipment will I use for taking photos?
You can use either the camera provided by the charity or your own smartphone to take photos.
Is this a paid position?
No, this is an unpaid voluntary position.
Are there age restrictions for this volunteering role?
Yes, we are unable to accept volunteers aged under 17 or those with unspent criminal convictions.
What benefits do volunteers receive?

How flexible are the volunteering hours?
Volunteering with us is easy and flexible; you can spare a few hours a week or just a couple of hours occasionally.

Yes, you will receive plenty of support and training to help you succeed in taking the right photographs.
Where will my photos be uploaded?
The photos you take will be uploaded onto the charity's online selling platform.
