The main purpose of this volunteer role is to help photograph items for online sales, showcasing them at their best to support the British Heart Foundation's efforts in funding research into heart and circulatory diseases.
Do I need to have professional photography skills to apply?
No, you do not need to be a professional photographer. Even novice photographers can easily learn to take the right snaps with the support and training provided.
What kind of items will I be photographing?
You will be photographing a wide range of items including clothing, homeware, books, vintage items, collectables, toys, and more.
Are there any age restrictions for this volunteer role?
Yes, volunteers must be aged 17 or older, and we cannot accept anyone with unspent criminal convictions.
Will I receive any training for this role?
Yes, comprehensive support and training will be provided to help you learn how to take quality photographs.
Is this a paid position?
No, this is an unpaid voluntary position.
What benefits do I get as a volunteer?
Benefits include a 25% discount on donated goods, a 10% discount on new goods, access to training and development, reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses, refreshments, volunteer certificates, references, long service awards, and discounts with other retailers.
How many hours do I need to commit to this volunteering position each week?
