What type of items will I be photographing?
You will be photographing a wide range of items including clothing, homeware, books, vintage items, collectables, toys, and more.
Do I need to be an experienced photographer to apply?
No, you do not need to be a pro photographer. Even novice photographers can quickly learn to take the right snaps with the support and training provided.
Is this a paid position?
No, this is an unpaid voluntary position.
What age must I be to volunteer for this role?
You must be at least 17 years old to volunteer for this position.
Are there any criminal conviction restrictions for volunteers?
Yes, we are unable to accept volunteers with unspent criminal convictions.
What support will I receive as a volunteer?
Volunteers will receive plenty of support and training in photography techniques to help capture the best shots for online sales.
Will I receive any benefits as a volunteer?
Yes, volunteers receive benefits such as a 25% discount on donated goods, a 10% discount on new goods, reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses, and access to training and development opportunities.
Can I volunteer if I can only spare a few hours occasionally?
Yes, volunteering is flexible, so you are welcome to join even if you can only spare a few hours occasionally.
