Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field required
  • 0-1 years’ internship experience in energy or other commodity businesses preferred
  • Product knowledge in gas, oil, and/or petrochemical markets preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience working in an ERP system preferred
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, Import/Export Procedures & Documents preferred
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills with strong verbal, writing and presentation skills
  • Capacity to work under time-sensitive business and reporting deadlines
  • Ability to effectively work as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing the product, documentation and payment flow to customers, suppliers, and freight providers for the physical trades of the assigned business unit.
  • Learn how to maintain accurate data in our ERP system as per company policy.
  • Aid colleagues in ensuring the import and export customs processes of the products traded are managed efficiently.
  • Look for ways to improve processes, maximize performance, and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with various departments internally to understand logistical and compliance-based requirements related to individual trades.
  • Communicate with local and international team members.
  • Help colleagues manage relationships with key suppliers, customers, and service providers to ensure an effective execution of physical bulk and containerized trade operations.
  • Assist with special ad-hoc projects related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • Contribute to the growth/development of the operations team and to the positive working environment.
