Requirements

  • BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area or related field preferred. In addition, we seek:
  • Ability to show experience in above required essential functions is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Industry certifications are desirable, but not required.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong writing and communications skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong copy-editing skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
  • Proficient with Wrike and other project management systems
  • Experience in supporting communications projects within or on behalf of the federal government
  • Experience in website design
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Expectations:
  • Willing to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Must currently reside in to the District of Columbia area

Responsibilities

  • Your day to day will include, but not limited to: project management; logistical support for stakeholder, client and internal facing events; strategic messaging development; communications product design and development; develop and submit team wide impact and project reports; and prepare senior executives for speaking engagements. In addition, you will support financial and KPI planning and reporting.
  • The public health landscape in the U.S. is rapidly evolving and OHGS is leading the federal marketplace for health IT modernization.
