Requirements

Must reside in the state of California for the duration of the internship, with ability to be productive while working remotely.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Learning & Development, Communications, Business, or a related field from an accredited college/university
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent business writing skills
Strong project planning, detail oriented and analytical skills required.
Experience leading and working on cross-functional, cross-disciplinary projects required.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft products and other standard office productivity applications required.

Responsibilities

Support Blue Shield’s Great Place to Work enterprise activities including developing employee and leader communications, designing and maintaining Shield Central (Intranet) site, planning internal events and analyzing employee engagement survey data
Tracking and implementing activities as part of the Leadership and Organizational Development team’s Great Place to Work action plan.
Working with Talent Operations to facilitate workshops, meetings, training, and definition/documentation of processes and procedures within the Talent Organization
Provide program development and support for our talent pipeline programs.
Support Blue Shield’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team through DEI related projects.
