Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
  • Must be a current MBA student.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
  • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.
  • Desired Characteristics:
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Strong Excel and data viz (e.g., PowerPoint) skills; programming skills a plus.
  • Ability to create structure and recommend approaches to ambiguous business questions.
  • Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, and project management skills.
  • Positive attitude and high level of professionalism.
  • Impeccable written and spoken communication skills, articulate and thoughtful.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative with an aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Self-sufficient problem solver able to think creatively and independently.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably at a top agency or consultancy.
  • BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, management, business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the streaming landscape, Peacock’s streaming offerings, as well as NBCU brands and their interface with the media industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist on evaluating multi-channel marketing campaign performance in driving core KPIs, including helping to prepare launch reporting and cross-functional post campaign wrap-up reports
  • Perform ad hoc analysis on organic social performance, including using third-party tools to measure sentiment and engagement of social posts
  • Work on 1-2 long-ranging analysis projects, collaborating with cross-functional data science and analytics teams. Example projects include:
  • Audience Analysis – create an audience segmentation to help inform opportunities for growth and retention
  • Marketing Testing – identify areas within marketing where experimentation can inform increased effectiveness and efficiency
  • Campaign Prioritization – develop a framework to identify which campaigns to prioritize and how we will evaluate their effectiveness
