Requirements

  • Studying as part of a Bachelor's or Diploma program in Human Resources or related
  • Skills Required for the role:
  • Strong communication skills, including writing
  • Professionalism and highly ethical; uses discretion and maintains strict confidentiality
  • Good judgement with a proactive “can-do” attitude & ability to question and push-back when required.
  • Detail oriented and methodical approach
  • Has the ability to interface at all levels of a global company, an international outlook and understanding
  • Can coordinate and manage multiple changing priorities at once in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Responsibilities

  • HR Business Operations:
  • Support and advise on employment law issues and queries
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Legal, Compensation, Benefits, L&D, Global Mobility, HRIS, Internal Communications, etc.) to drive positive employee experience outcomes
  • Foster and maintain strong internal relationships with HR & colleagues globally
  • With Talent Acquisition, manage a seamless candidate and new hire experience from offer through to on-boarding and post hire check-in
  • Coordinate completion of Background Checks on time including follow-up with the 3rd party vendor on a regular basis
  • Interface with key internal and external partners e.g., Payroll, Legal, Facilities, IT etc. to ensure coordinated on-boarding, separation, and other key actions
  • File documentation appropriately and compliantly
  • Responsible for Workday support to employees/managers and any Workday actions
  • Participate in audits as required
  • HR Excellence:
  • Recommend solutions, drive initiatives, implement new processes or tools in support of business priorities, project operations, and overall team engagement
  • Promote self-service (Tier 0) to employees and managers
  • Constantly review and develop Tier 0 content for timeliness and relevancy
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
