Requirements

  • Studying towards a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Eager to learn and intellectual curiosity.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently in a high-paced setting.
  • Handle data professionally and confidentially.
  • Comfortable interacting with people across all levels and different cultures.
  • Focus on delivering quality results with a proactive mindset.
  • Effective at prioritizing tasks, understanding their importance, and meeting deadlines.
  • Can work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Must be local to Newport Beach, CA office and able to work in-office 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Job duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Supporting RSC People Experience team in daily operational duties. This includes job description reviews, performance management, and policy guidance.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives related to the full employee lifecycle.
  • Conduct research on current trends and best practices in Human Resources related to workforce trends such as turnover and best in class culture levers.
  • Partner with the RSC People Experience team on leadership training based on current people trends.
  • Assist and participate in regular connection and support of the business units based in our Newport Beach office.
  • Present work to business leaders at the end of the summer program.
