Requirements

  • Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Management, Human Resources or Business Management
  • High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.
  • You enjoy working with others and being part of a team.
  • Communication skills — with both a technical & non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week
  • Essential Job Functions:
  • Regular, on-time attendance
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, copier and telephone
  • Ability to use office computer programs such as e-mail, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Occasionally remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods

Responsibilities

  • HR Operations:
  • Support HR operations by assisting with various tasks including data auditing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
  • Assist with creating and distributing monthly wellness newsletter
  • Organizing an offsite event for interns
  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Aid in administrative tasks related to employer brand/recruitment processes, such as scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, updating email templates, updating employer pages, and maintaining applicant tracking systems
  • Talent Management/Operations:
  • Support employee training and development programs
  • Coordinate logistics for employee engagement events, such as team-building activities, social gatherings, and recognition events
  • Collaborate with HR team members to develop and maintain employee recognition programs, including ordering and distributing employee swag, gifts, and rewards
  • Assist with onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Partner with talent management and talent acquisition to update and organize job descriptions.
  • Office Administration:
  • Notify managers of upcoming birthdays and anniversaries on their team
  • Assist with event planning (including intern event), set up, and clean up
  • Update interior office monitors to display key business updates and employee spotlights
