Responsibilities

  • Management of HE SCS diaries and inboxes, including commissioning and responding to emails on their behalf.
  • Provide on-going support to the SCS by preparing weekly briefings/action lists that help the director stay on track in delivering their objectives.
  • Coordination of corporate commissions to the SCS’s division, including sourcing more information, managing timelines, and collating returns, working sometimes to tight deadlines.
  • Provide secretariat support to meetings, as needed, including taking minutes.
  • Support the Head of Office to manage recruitment and similar processes in the Directorate.
  • Making travel and accommodation bookings that adhere to departmental policies, take account of value for money, and support the DDs’ diary arrangements.
  • Providing annual leave cover as required on behalf of other PAs when dedicated support is not available.
