Requirements

  • Enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy or demonstration of an acceptance offer prior to enrollment.
  • High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) required.
  • License, Certification, Registration:
  • Pharmacy Intern License (Colorado)
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous work experience in a pharmacy, health care related field or customer service.

Responsibilities

  • procedures. Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice in every interaction with patients, colleagues, providers, and leadership. Ensures patient safety in the preparation and provisioning of care related to but not limited to medications, procedures, infection prevention, fall prevention, including consistent use of two patient identifiers and procedural time outs. Reports safety hazards, accidents and incidents, and unsafe working conditions promptly.
  • Learns and applies the functions of a pharmacist as allowed by the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy under appropriate supervision.
  • Supports department personnel in work assignments and patient care.
  • Participates in special projects as assigned and works at other locations as assigned.
