Requirements

  • Other key aspects of the position:
  • You should have excellent written and oral communication skills and should be comfortable in explaining technical concepts to a wide range of audiences including more senior engineers and management teams.
  • We foster a culture of accountability and promote creative problem-solving; therefore, being resourceful and having great initiative will enable success in this position.
  • You should have a disciplined approach to your work. We track and administer our work using task management tools and other collaboration tools to properly document work plans and work outcomes.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in EE, CE, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals
  • Programming skills (Python, C, C++ or equivalent)
  • Basic understanding of FPGA fundamentals
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems (hardware and software).
  • Printed circuit board schematic capture and layout
  • Preferable Skills:
  • Experience with lab equipment, measurements
  • Interface standards such as SPI, I2C
  • A great attitude with an eagerness to learn and facility to adapt to changes in plans and new technical challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and document test methods
  • Design PCBs (schematic capture, layout review) and test fixtures for lab use
  • Automate data collection and analysis to solve problems
  • Present your work to the broader team
