Requirements

  • You are pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in related fields.
  • Strong coding skills, preferably in Python.
  • Background in digital design, VLSI and/or Power Optimization background.
  • Interest in computer architecture and energy efficient GPU designs.
  • Familiarity with Verilog and ASIC design principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with architects and RTL members to identify energy budgets for design blocks.
  • Develop methodologies and workflows to select and run a wide variety of workloads on GPUs.
  • Define metrics to track energy variations impacted by varying workloads, process, timing, floorplan, and layout.
  • Automate gathering & organizing large datasets to detect power anomalies
  • Root cause power metric deviations thereby identifying power optimization opportunities.
