Responsibilities

  • Working under the direction of registered Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians within multidisciplinary teams
  • Pre-registration trainee pharmacy technician apprentices will assist in the provision and preparation of medicines to meet the needs of all patients
  • Through your working practices you will apply respect and confidentiality, work well in a team, be courteous, and professional, maintain a safe working environment, contribute to the safeguarding of patients working accurately when preparing and dispensing medicines

The apprentice allowance will be paid as specified in the Minimum Wage Regulations for the first 12 months, after which the rate will increase in line with these regulations for anyone age 19 or over.
