Requirements

  • University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:
  • University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.
  • Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.
  • Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
  • Current enrollment in a Product Design or related field degree-seeking program at the Bachelor’s level.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills when sharing design process with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Command of Figma, the Adobe Creative Suite, and software prototyping tools

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement user interfaces that enhance surgeon and OR staff capabilities through unprecedented simplicity, utility, and ease of use
  • Define, document, and execute design system patterns employing purposeful typography, color, iconography, and motion to deliver world class user interfaces
  • Provide both high-level and detail-focused specifications for designs to facilitate communication with project stakeholders and engineering teams alike
  • Partner with the broader User Experience team to drive consistency across Intuitive’s product ecosystem
