Requirements

  • A BSc/MSc/PhD in Product Design or similar.
  • Understanding of how users use complex software, and a passion for understanding people, user needs and their behaviours.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills that allow you to present designs, in various stages of completion to stakeholders in an understandable, simplified and concise way both visually and verbally.
  • An understanding of a variety of design methodologies.
  • An interest in Software design.
  • A knowledge of any of the following would be desirable:
  • Agile software development
  • 3D CAD systems
  • Design thinking approaches

Responsibilities

  • During this 12-month internship you will work in small, agile teams tasked with the design and definition of our flagship CAD software. Whilst you will closely work alongside User Researchers and with development staff, your work will solely focus on the product design process. You will be reporting to the Product Design lead.
