Requirements

  • Prospective interns must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university; be considered rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate students, or post-doctoral students
  • Can collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, decisive, and analytical, strong organizational, prioritizing, interpersonal, and problem-solving
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • You learn quickly and are comfortable context-switching between different problem spaces
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Requires significant independent judgment, strategic evaluation, assessment, and recommendation while sorting through many diverse challenges
  • Can evaluate complex data, concepts, information, and resources and develop working frameworks and detailed solutions

Responsibilities

  • We want you to contribute a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the product and mission. This means understanding and sharing the user’s pain and needs with the business and the team so they can and are encouraged to help.
  • Contribute to identifying growth opportunities aligned with the overall enterprise’s strategic objectives
  • Contribute to identifying and evaluating whitespace opportunities, strengthening existing operating models, evaluating new consumer needs states, and uncovering new product and service solutions
  • Conduct and analyze market trends, market requirements, customer needs, user feedback, data, and competitive landscape
  • Contribute to marketplace assessments, including secondary research to map the competitive landscape, understand revenue models, conduct market sizing, and build a business case for participation in a market
  • Cultivates deep understanding of consumers/members through human center design, including assessing needs, identifying pain points/barriers, ideating value propositions and solutions, and estimating demand
  • Assist in identifying and launching new product opportunities and enhancements
  • Coordinate the prioritization of features based on customer and business value
  • Document market assessments in the form of visual presentations for senior stakeholders
