Requirements

Are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Have an analytical spirit and attention to detail
Thrive in a team oriented and autonomous work environment
Have a Continuous Improvement and data driven mindset
Are Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and Project)
Have experience (or interest) in Reliability
Have CAD software experience (AutoCAD, CATIA V5)
Have strong communication & interpersonal skills
Have Project Management experience would be an asset
Have strong communication & interpersonal skills
Are Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

During your internship, you will be asked to perform the following tasks:
Support technical problem solving related to the vehicles
Propose equipment modification, based on 1. existing failure analysis, 2. Improving customer experience, 3. Improving Safety
Support existing mechanical and/ or electrical engineering as per requires
Participate in design review/ validation, implementation planning, project material procurement and Quality Assurance planning
Support the change management process to improve its efficiency
As part of your job, you will be asked to:
Solve straight forward problems, analyze possible solutions using acquired experience and judgment
Review Supplier’s technical documentation
Prepare Project Timelines
Produce the required engineering reports
Follow-up on action items
Collaborate with different department of the Maintenance teams to achieve desired outcome
Actively participate in project development
Attend and present at meetings with our customer
Participate or lead vehicle modification activities
Assist teams in root cause analysis and solution implementation
Analyze data and make recommendations
Assist/lead with change management
