Requirements

  • Are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Have an analytical spirit and attention to detail
  • Thrive in a team oriented and autonomous work environment
  • Have a Continuous Improvement and data driven mindset
  • Are Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and Project)
  • Have experience (or interest) in Reliability
  • Have CAD software experience (AutoCAD, CATIA V5)
  • Have strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Have Project Management experience would be an asset
  • Have strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Are Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • During your internship, you will be asked to perform the following tasks:
  • Support technical problem solving related to the vehicles
  • Propose equipment modification, based on 1. existing failure analysis, 2. Improving customer experience, 3. Improving Safety
  • Support existing mechanical and/ or electrical engineering as per requires
  • Participate in design review/ validation, implementation planning, project material procurement and Quality Assurance planning
  • Support the change management process to improve its efficiency
  • As part of your job, you will be asked to:
  • Solve straight forward problems, analyze possible solutions using acquired experience and judgment
  • Review Supplier’s technical documentation
  • Prepare Project Timelines
  • Produce the required engineering reports
  • Follow-up on action items
  • Collaborate with different department of the Maintenance teams to achieve desired outcome
  • Actively participate in project development
  • Attend and present at meetings with our customer
  • Participate or lead vehicle modification activities
  • Assist teams in root cause analysis and solution implementation
  • Analyze data and make recommendations
  • Assist/lead with change management
