Requirements

  • Intern will be responsible to work independently and adjust project work according to input from team and shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate a proactive level of professional curiosity to think outside the box
  • Must be a confident self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and working within a team environment.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with all business partners.
  • Ability to evaluate pros and cons of alternative solutions and effectively translate to broad audiences.
  • Strong time and project management skills that enable on-time project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Qualifications:
  • Candidates should currently be enrolled in an undergraduate Agricultural Business, Economics or related degree program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025.
  • GPA of 3.0+ preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement sourcing projects related to raw material supply chain
  • Project will review category and items sourced domestically to support production (such as vegetables & proteins)
  • Data and research from the project will be utilized to form & construct purchasing strategies.
  • Learn and use tools available as applicable to project execution; including but not limited to Excel & PowerPoint
  • Interpret and refine results for broad audiences.
  • Present and discuss findings at during weekly share-outs
  • Act in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, polices, and other standards of conduct.
