Requirements

  • (Preferred) candidates that are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering).
  • Basic understanding of analytical testing and quality control principles.
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Willingness to work on-site with no hybrid options available.
  • Proactive approach with a high energy level and a sense of urgency to accomplish tasks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to thrive in both team-oriented environments and independent work settings.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts by reading work instructions and standard operating procedures and completing on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to operate a variety of advanced test equipment, including ceramic dilatometer, Spectrophotometer, and X-Ray wavelength spectrometer.
  • Learn the principles of thermal expansion measurement and material behavior analysis.
  • Gain skills in measuring light absorption and reflectance properties of materials.
  • Acquire knowledge in elemental analysis and material composition determination.
  • Understand the methodologies for analyzing test results obtained from the various equipment.
  • Learn to interpret data and identify key trends and deviations that impact material quality.
