Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be pursuing a BSCS / BSCSE or equivalent degree. Candidates in their Junior Year or entering their Senior Year is ideal for this role. Any post-graduates are welcome to apply also.
  • Strong software analysis and design knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, .NET, C++, C#, OO, XML, HTML, SQL databases
  • Possibly an experience in one or more of the following: embedded SW test, embedded firmware (or Physics), instrument SW qualification, SW test paradigms, or test metrics.
  • Some background in industry-wide software quality, software test processes, software test paradigm, software best-practices, and tools and techniques
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Our engineers develop software for our market-leading Signal Analyzers, Signal Sources, and Electronic Measurement Applications.
  • They work with manufacturing and software teams in other geographies world-wide.
  • Intern projects involve one or several aspects of the full software lifecycle including requirements capture, investigation, product definition, design, implementation and verification.
  • Example projects and experiences may include:
  • Create and evaluate C# based utilities to extend measurement capabilities of signal analysis software/hardware.
  • Implement or enhance web applications associated with software quality and testing.
  • Learn and apply modern software engineering practices such as Agile Scrum, unit testing, usability testing, and continuously integrated builds
  • Obtain hands-on knowledge of Test & Measurement instrument control
