Requirements

  • Undergraduate business student with a concentration in Real Estate, Finance,
  • Accounting, or Economics.
  • Part time hours during the school year, with the opportunity to increase hours during
  • the summer.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including a strong working knowledge of
  • financial formulas and analysis in Excel
  • Interest in various investment sectors including real estate, marketable securities, and
  • private equity
  • Abilities:
  • Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
  • Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing,
  • pulling, lifting up to 25lbs. seeing and reading

Responsibilities

  • Financial return modeling, analysis, benchmarking, and reporting
  • Perform real estate market research on asset classes in Messer’s regions
  • Analyze real estate investment proformas and income statements
  • Ad hoc financial reporting & investment analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly portfolio real estate meetings
  • Create & maintain dashboards detailing portfolio investments and returns
  • Analyze property rent rolls & benchmark portfolio performance
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
