Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in Master’s degree program in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public health, Computer science, Data Science or related quantitative field
  • Proficiency in R, SQL or python
  • Experience working with large and complex real-world data, such as Survey, registry, claims or EHR
  • Ability/desire to learn new techniques and best practices
  • Good interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data cleaning and data management of various types of data, such as survey, registry and claims/EHR data
  • Execute the statistical analysis of assigned projects based on RWE statistical analysis plan
  • Build data models and dashboards using data visualization tool
  • Conduct research on machine learning tools, industry trends and applications in RWE
  • Document and present analytical results
  • Contribute to publications (e.g., abstracts, posters) if applicable
