Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Researchers or PhD students in Machine Learning and other related fields
  • In-depth understanding of machine learning with rich experiences in relevant fields
  • Background in large language models, especially post-training or alignment, is preferable
  • Familiar with at least one popular machine learning framework (e.g., Pytorch, TensorFlow, JAX etc)
  • Good at communications and prioritizing teamwork
  • Solid mathematical background and coding ability
  • Publication at the top conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, FAccT, AAAI, CVPR, ICCV, ACL, WWW etc) is a big plus
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Responsibilities

  • Research and development of technologies on responsible AI, particularly with a focus on large language models, including but not limited to safety, reasoning, alignment, privacy, robustness
  • Perform research on responsible AI and collaborate with experts from both academia and industry
  • Design and perform theoretical analysis of AI algorithms
