Requirements

  • Candidate should be pursuing B.S. degree or advanced graduate degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Applied Mechanics or equivalent fields specializing in the area of Computational Engineering
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship.
  • Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: 1) modeling atomic and molecular interactions, 2) finite element modeling software, or 3) modeling solid mechanics
  • Experience modeling atomic and molecular interactions is desirable.
  • Experience with LAMMPS, GROMACS, and/or Gaussian software is desirable.
  • Experience with finite element modeling software is desirable.
  • Experience modeling solid mechanics problems is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is desirable.
  • Relevant semiconductor manufacturing experience and/ or equipment experience with advanced knowledge of photolithography, resist materials and integrated patterning technologies preferred
  • Candidate would preferably have experience using computational engineering, lithography, or data science software or languages (COMSOL, Star-CCM+, Fluent, MATLAB, C++, Python or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a global and multi-cultural environment is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to explain complex technical topics

Responsibilities

  • Build models to better understand and optimize dispensing and coating processes
  • Build models to better understand and optimize bonding of semiconductor devices
  • Build simulation models with goal to optimize process and tool design.
  • Build models to better understand optical devices
  • Develop new lithography equipment, process and software technologies in collaboration with our CLEAN TRACK factory and marketing teams in Japan
  • Collaborate global projects with TEL US R&D sites, consortia (IMEC), semiconductor customers, vendors and/or universities using strong communication skills
  • Strong emphasis is placed on candidates that can find solutions to difficult problems through structured project management while working in a team environment.
