The ideal candidate for this RF Design Engineer Co-op position in San Jose must be currently enrolled in a PhD or MS program in Electrical Engineering and possess a strong understanding of RF/Microwave concepts, PA fundamentals, Smith Chart, and S-Parameters. They should have knowledge of analog blocks, working with Network Analyzer and/or Spectrum Analyzer, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and simulation software such as HFSS and ADS. Additionally, they should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills.

The RF Design Engineer Co-op will be responsible for designing, simulating, and testing PA/LNA front-end modules for wireless mobile systems. They will use electromagnetic and circuit simulators to analyze measurement data and plan experiments, and will also tune RF front end modules for optimal performance in the lab.
