  • Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year.
  • Certification(s) Preferred:
  • Before starting with PwC full-time, demonstration of active interest in the pursuit of Associateship of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or Associateship of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS).
  • Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
  • Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following:
  • Possessing a basic understanding of actuarial science, applied statistics, risk and capital management, value analyses, and financial reporting standards;
  • Desiring to pursue a career in actuarial consulting;
  • Exhibiting creative problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks;
  • Interacting with various levels of client and firm management in both written and verbal form; and,
  • Exemplifying an ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • As an Intern / Trainee, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Our Intern’s role in PwC‘s core actuarial and insurance services provided to clients is to:

  • Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.
