Requirements

  • Progressive matriculation towards a bachelor’s degree; May 2024 & December 2024 graduates preferred
  • Prior work experience in sales, marketing, manufacturing, or engineering is a plus.
  • Social media savvy & creative
  • Ability to read blueprints is a plus
  • Contagious energy: ability to communicate ideas and influence others
  • Ability to create a professional PowerPoint presentation, as well as a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical and organization abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to improve existing processes and solve critical issues
  • Learn about Ryerson’s proud history: what we do, our culture, and our plans for the future
  • Conduct market research and identify potential relationships for Ryerson using marketing, social media, online research, track & report data, and share with members of the sales / operations team
  • Review inventory to understand how it works. Find & identify our biggest needs and improvements with some of our products
  • Complete a location-specific project assigned by leadership
